Subscription dues are just like a magazine subscription, they give you 365 days of membership in the VFW. For example, if you become an annual member of the VFW in the month of May, your membership dues will be due by the end of May each year.

 

If you become a Life Member, you will no longer need to worry about when you need to pay your dues. Life Member dues amounts are based on your age.

Annual membership dues are $35 and are due at the end of the month of the anniversary of the date you joined the VFW.

The VFW is dedicated to promoting patriotism and investing in our future generation. If you are a democracy-loving high school student, in grades 9 - 12, interested in winning $30,000, this scholarship may be for you.

 

The theme of the V.O.D. Essay contest changes annually. Themes are announced in March and essays are submitted to the Post by end of October. Post winners are submitted to District level for judging. District winner is forwarded to compete at Department of Pennsylvania. State winner competes at National for top prize of $30,000.
